Laura is a highly intelligent, thoroughly adaptable and skilled supervisor. Throughout my time as her supervisee, I was privileged to witness and learn from her ability to take on complex tasks with ease, competence, and an enlivening sense of humor. The style in which she supported me and her team was holistic in that she was able to teach procedure quickly and efficiently, contextualize decision making frameworks, and give the type of honest yet empathetic feedback of particular value to case management. Her extensive managerial experience is apparent, particularly in her ability to advocate for the wellbeing of her staff, and maneuver in an out of various projects as needed in a thoroughly reliable and almost unseen manner. At our organization, she not only had an encyclopedic knowledge of current processes, as well as an awareness of potential next steps, but she interfaced naturally with all levels of management and staff. Laura is a truly good listener, and she is not only kind but self-aware and matter of fact, giving her a distinct advantage in professional communication. Laura is by far the quickest pupil of new systems and software I have ever met, and she is agile in her project management style, fostering commitment and trust in her peers and mentees. I have a feeling the full range of her professional prowess has yet to be unfurled.
